Weekend unwinding

The weekends are my days off from #nannylife, but to be completely honest, I’m far from “off.” Im just working on my other projects which usually consists of content creating, following up with emails, marketing, and really tending to any and everything I didnt get to do the previous week/weekend like “getting around” to cleaning my room, and/or my car (laundry is done during the week because it would never get done over the weekend lol)…

Yesterday I visited the Pearl Brewery with my brother Jojo. I visited this place the day before with my nanny friend for a playdate at the twig bookshop where we listened to Miss Anastasia read several curious george stories to the little ones (well, the ones who sat still to listen) and then we walked around shortly after. Being there brought back memories of when I nannied just minutes from this exact place. Though it was steaming hot, It was great to change up my “weekend routine” and it was also fun to visit a place that I normally visit with my toddler friends (yes, nanny’s babies are her friends :)). The farmers market was great, and the architecture is so pretty its hard not to get inspired after walking around. There’s also great places to shop (can be pretty pricey though), and eat from healthy sweets, to full fledge dining.

When I’m not nannying, there’s no telling what sort of outfit I’ll have on (but I can promise it’s always appropriate lol). But today I decided to keep things comfy and simple. I love a good flowy blouse paired with comfy skinnies, sandals, my ray ban aviators, and a bag to carry my entire life including my camera 🙂

Zara skinnies

Kate Spade Hand bag (similar option)

Tank (similar option)

Sometimes, getting out of the house helps spark those creative juices, and rewire just in time for the coming work week. I plan on bringing my charge Blue back here for an ice-cream date at “Lick” this week!

So, how do you spend your Saturdays? Do you have any fun cute places you like to visit to unwind?

Share them with me in the comments!
